Hi my name is Tim Prow, I am a freelance sculptor and have been in the gaming and collectable industry for the past 19 years, 15 of those years as a sculptor (first 4 years as a miniature painter at Games Workshop).

 Originally from Nottingham, but currently based on the sunny coast of Brighton. I've worked for many different companies, most of which has been freelance work, from my early days with Heart Breaker, Target Games and FASA. July 2000 I moved from England to the US to work for Ral Partha, soon after Ral Partha were taken over by Wizkids. I continued to work for Wizkids till the end of 2003, before moving back to England to start up my own business, Free Radical Design Studio.

 Since my return I have been involved with sculpting for the film and TV, museums, art galleries, publishing companies and the gaming industry. I also cast in resin and have connections to metal casting and fabrication. Whether you need sculptures or something more extensive Free Radical Design Studio can help. I've experience in not just the sculpting of the figures but also as a consultant, giving valuable knowledge on casting (in both metals and plastics), paint op's and colour schemes, 2D to 3D conversion, and sculpture feasibility.

 I have just finished work on a full range of collectable Japanese anime characters (Yu-Gi-Oh!) for a London based publishing company, whom I've also sculpted Marvel comic figurines for. My work varies in size from tiny to large, most of the gaming pieces are around 30mm tall while the collectable work can range from 30mm to 100mm or larger. I realize in any industry sculptures can be larger than the work sizes I have quoted, I do specialize in miniature figurines but I am very interested in working in larger scales, because I love the challenge, and to furthering my art. During my time as a sculptor I've come a long way, and I believe you never finish learning and perfecting your skills. I count myself lucky to be able to do the thing I love as a job!
